Job Description

From notable award shows, music specials and prime time television series to international live tour production, Silent House collaborates with a wide span of clients for set and stage creation. We specialize in creative direction, production design, art direction, and lighting design, and pride ourselves on being on the cutting edge of live entertainment experiences.

Overview:
We are seeking an outgoing, creative, and disciplined Illustrator to work in a fast paced environment. The position requires a thorough, articulate, and accomplished problem solver with strong attention to detail. Theater, broadcast, touring and/or architectural rendering experience required.

Responsibilities:
Interface with project managers designers and art directors to develop concept sketches, and illustrations

Qualifications:
A degree in fine arts, illustration, or design
2+ years of design and strong interactive/digital work experience preferred
Excellent analog drawing & sketching and IT skills (i don’t think that the IT part is a requisite- that will be a different job/person)
Expertise with digital software tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with a 3-D computer graphics program (modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering i.e.: Renderworks, Maya, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, etc)
Responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to generate and problem solve creative ideas
Ability to adapt styles to fit the branding of a specific project
