Job Description

Primary functions:

Supporting the US and Canada Distribution Supervisor on the following
• Delivery and confirmation of media assets and metadata for NGC and NG Wild air.
• Delivery of media assets and metadata to distribution partners such as iTunes, Amazon, Corus Canada, and NG Mundo.
• Assisting in scheduling outgoing QC of media assets for technicians/junior editors.
• Assisting in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of delivered assets in Excel spreadsheet.

Secondary functions:

• Assembly of air master media for NGC and NG Wild air, either through Vantage workflows or manual assembly of program segments in an NLE on an as-needed basis.
• Requesting closed captioning of air masters from third-party caption vendors, and ensure their prompt delivery.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Working knowledge of NLEs, specifically Avid Media Composer
• Knowledge of ingest methods of digital and tape media
• Knowledge of media asset delivery via Aspera
• Knowledge of Schedu-All preferred
• Knowledge of MacCaption preferred
• Attention to detail
