Leading Authorities, a renowned lecture agency and events company, is looking for freelance graphics designers and operators to support our live events business. From creative concept through onsite execution, our graphics designers and operators are there with exhilarating content to bring our client’s visions to life.

Each candidate will excel at creating stimulating imagery for projection, understanding pre-production and onsite execution for graphic development, and maintaining cool when delivering content in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

A successful candidate will also…
• Have experience creating presentations and content in multiple formats for a live event audience
• Show proficiency in design and execution with Apple’s Keynote / MS PowerPoint programs
• Display ability to enhance graphics by adding motion and animation and incorporating video
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to changes and updates
• Showcase the ability to take cues and manage a multi-system onsite graphics environment
• Work closely with all members of the LAI teams including Video Editors, Project / Production Managers, Creative and Technical Directors, Sales and Marketing Professionals, Accounting and Financial Professionals and Executive Management to develop or complete various projects

This candidate should also have…
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, and /or Video Production or equivalent work experience in the graphic design or operation for the live event environment
• Three to five years work experience, preferably in a fast paced production, entertainment and / or event environment
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• The ability to juggle multiple projects successfully while adhering to tight deadlines
• The ability to work long hours with an irregular schedule including weekends and holidays
• The ability to travel frequently sometimes four to seven days at a time

The candidate should know...
This is a freelance position and successful candidates will be selected on a project by project basis according to skill set and needs at the time of contracting. Some projects may span up to six months from concept to execution.
