Job Description

Boutique video production company is seeking experienced independent professional to consistently help manage post-production of online commercial beauty video content. Projects are focused on established cosmetics brands’ commercials, tutorials, teasers, social media, etc. - lots of variety!

This position is PART-TIME with flexible hours. The main role of this position is to manage post-production on a project by project basis. This includes communicating with our post-production team and clients (mostly via email but sometimes in-person). Additional tasks may include office admin tasks and occasionally helping out with pre-production.

Responsibilities include making sure the client’s vision is realized through each stage of post production, reviewing client notes and passing them on to our post team, reviewing rough cuts, shuttling hard drives, etc.
Each project is different so we are looking for someone who enjoys variety!

You may be the right fit for this position if:

You have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE - this may seem like a no-brainer but is very important
You are a strong communicator with CLIENT-FACING experience
You have at least 1 year experience as a VIDEO EDITOR (Adobe Premiere CC)
You have a clear understanding of post production workflows, video specs, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications
You have strong computer skills
You are an organizational rockstar
You can promptly answer email/text communications, especially communications with clients
You are motivated, self-disciplined, and can work independently
You have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle

Interest in beauty & cosmetics is a plus, but not a requirement.
Living on the West Side of LA is a HUGE plus, but not a requirement.
Our office is located in Culver City (right off the EXPO Line) but, you wouldn’t have to be here everyday.
