Job Description

Vancouver, Canada - Full Time - Contract
V2 Games is looking for an Art Director to assist us in the develpment of new and existing systems and games.

Responsibilites

Produce concept paintings, models, textures and various other benchmark assets
A proven track record that demonstrates an ability to solve problems in collaboration with large game teams, including fellow artists, art lead, design lead, tech lead, product owner, and producer
Strong ability to direct multiple art disciplines, including 2D, 3D, UI, animation, and technical art
Collaborate with production to ensure schedules and plans adhere to business and project needs

3 years experience producing video game art or other relevant role
Minimum 1-2 years experience as lead artist or art director
Bachelor degree/diploma
Truly enjoys working with others
Takes the initiative to solve problems and is professional during the follow through
Excells in a work space defined by collaboration
Experience working with an art director to create original and cohesive art style
Works hand in hand with game designers to ensure art improves players' experiences
Collaborates with technical artists and developers to ensure that art is implemented correctly in the most optimised way
Able to explore a plethora of art styles to produce fantastic art styles
Nice to Haves

Passion for a variety of art styles, including sci-fi, fantasy. cartoons, horror, cute, realistic and traditional
Enthisiastic about mobile games
