Job Description

Core Accountabilities:
• Responsible for all post-production requirements in creative + storytelling capacity
• Participate in concepting sessions with filmmaker
• Ensuring efficient post-production workflow
• Archiving + tagging all finished projects
• Uploading content to YouTube + Vimeo + Youlu
• Work with filmmakers to ensure project meets brief
• Mentors & elevates work of assistant editor
• Ensuring projects delivery on time and on spec
• Keep up to date with technologies, trends, techniques

Must Haves
• 3+ years professional experience working as a Video Editor using Adobe Premiere
• Demonstrated proficiency with After Effects
• Knowledge of hardware and software required for video/audio conversion and compression
• Intimate knowledge of sound mixing and color correction
• Mastery in archiving digital assets + file and content management
• Experience working within a video or digital media production environment
• Ability to manage + optimize Vimeo and YouTube pages

• You keep informed and up to date on best practices and tools in the video space, ensuring standards remain high and techniques are cutting edge
• You work efficiently under pressure, with tight timelines
• You’re a self-starter - are able to work independently and move projects forward
• Loves collaboration and is willing to action creative feedback
• MUST HAVE: sense of humor (*non-neogtiable)
