Job Description

Texas Freedom Network is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization in Austin, Texas that focuses on religious freedom, individual liberties and public education. Stand Up For Science is an ongoing campaign focused on science curriculum standards. In preparation for another fight with the Texas Legislature and State Board of Education, we want to produce an explainer video for the public that will provide a brief background on the evolution (heh) of anti-evolution policies and agendas. We will provide the research and script, as well as provide b-roll of meetings and events. Animation/whiteboarding/motion graphics are a must, but we are negotiable on the extent to which they are used. Our budget is limited and tight but we are open to ideas that will make this project work. If you're a nerd and love science, Bill Nye, Neil De Grasse Tyson, Jane Goodall, or our main man Darwin - that's a bonus. Pending the success of this video, we hope to have more (on various topics) down the line
