Job Description

Beach House Pictures – Asia’s largest independent production company and a Realscreen Global 100 company – is currently recruiting for an exciting new documentary series for Discovery Channel.

As Series Producer, you will be responsible for leading the production team and ensuring the overall quality of our new show from beginning to end. You will be involved in scripting, writing and editing content, as well as budgeting and scheduling. You will play a key role to ensure that timelines are met, within budget, and to agreed artistic and technical standards. You will also be in-charge of various administrative aspects, including hiring and overseeing cast and crew.

For this role, you must have at least 3 years’ experience as a series producer / executive producer, ideally with some experience in producing dramatic recreations and high end CGI. In addition, you must be a team player with a can-do attitude and great communication skills who also possesses strong organizational and time management skills. You should be a resourceful industry practitioner, who has multi-tasked in a variety of roles, such as producer, writer, director, or script editor, with international broadcasters.

An active interest and/or some knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine is an advantage but not essential.

As this is a long-term project, you must also be willing to relocate to Singapore for between 12 to 18 months.
