Job Description

Seeking fearless producers to help develop a brand new cable TV series

The Art of the Lift is a crime drama about a team of expert pick-pockets and their attempt to break in a new recruit. Set in New York's underground world of grifters and schemers, the series will be shot in black & white as an homage to classic noir thrillers of the 40's & 50's.

A black & white TV show with little-to-no budget, a creative team with zero TV experience and unenviable social-media presence. WHAT CAN GO WRONG?!!

Who are you: You're a producer/director with decent experience who's also a cinephile and/or TV addict, can't get enough of either and have a passion for the creative process that borders on the obsessive. You've got the grit to jump into brand new projects head-first, regardless of the consequences, because when God made you He used only the hardest materials around.

You understand that love of the work beats out a paycheck any day of the week.

You've seen hits like Breaking Bad and Justified and Deadwood come & go and have said to yourself "psshhh . . . I could do that!"

You want to be a part of something special.

You just LOOOOOOOOVE proving the naysayers wrong.

You live in New York.

We don't have much in terms of a budget or salary but we more than make up for those with a "don't-got-time-to-bleed" mindset, a unique, one-of-a-kind project that resonates with a surprising amount of people and a love with a capital L for television and creating material that we (and you) can be proud of.

WHAT CAN GO WRONG?!!
