7ate9 is immediately seeking a talented Business Development Associate to join our team in Los Angeles. Your primary role will be to establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with past, current, and potential clients. You will go beyond scouting for project briefs in order to define what clients need and extract all available opportunities. Additionally, you will help determine the best course of action for the company in seeking new business by actively following news, trends, and markets, to grow the company in the right direction to maintain 7ate9’s strong standing in the industry. We are aiming to hire someone to start immediately. The position is full-time.
KEY DUTIES
• Craft and articulate 7ate9’s offerings
• Develop presentation, process, and BTS material
• Identify new business opportunities and develop a strategy to pursue them
• Develop and maintain strategic business and marketing relationships
• Work with senior management to identify growth opportunities with existing clients
• Develop yearly and quarterly plans for travel and conference attendance
ABOUT YOU
• 3-5 years of business development experience working in entertainment or at a creative agency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• General knowledge of the inner workings of the entertainment industry, specifically kids branding and commercials.
• Proven track record to meet or exceed revenue goals
• Ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Friendly, personable, and methodical
• Bachelor’s degree
