Job Description

New York-based non-fiction production company is seeking ambitious and creative candidates to fill the role of Manager of Development. Although this is a junior role, experience in a similar role is preferred. Candidates should possess a broad knowledge of current television programming (non-fiction) and industry trends.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Brainstorming television show ideas
-Writing pitches, treatments etc.
-Researching potential talent, ideas etc.
-Building relationships with network support staff
-Use of PowerPoint/preparation of projects in PowerPoint
-Supporting senior level Development Executives
-Administrative task related to Development (taking notes, preparing documents etc).
