Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Editor for a potential long term contract at NG Studios in Washington, DC starting in mid-February 2017 through September 2017. The position supports the editorial/producing team on the series. He/or She is responsible for the organization of materials, ingest, outputs, narration/music placement/review, stringouts, cutdowns, daily syncs, etc. This is a nighttime position Monday through Friday (4pm-12am).

Skills Required:

• Must be proficient in FCP and Adobe Premiere

• Must be task-oriented, self-motivated and able work effectively with minimal supervision

• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Must be able to work as part of a team

Bonus Skills:

-Previous experience working on a multi-episodic television series.

-After Effects experience a plus
