Job Description

Emmy Award winning Production Company is seeking an extraordinary Production Assistant with an interest in stop motion animation. This position is responsible for supporting all departments of the show as assigned by Producer. This is an excellent opportunity for gaining hands on experience in all aspects of stop motion animation.

Responsibilities:
• Open/Close the studio by prepping the building for the day and wrapping at night
• Production runs to pick up materials as requested by department heads
• Maintain the upkeep and stock of the kitchen, restrooms, printer, employee lounge, and various offices throughout the Studio
• Lead small Studio tours
• Cover the front desk and answer the phone/relay messages as needed
• Assure that all guests sign Non-Disclosure Agreements
• Be aware of safety protocol and procedures in case an incident occurs
• Time permitting, assist in various departments (Puppets, Art, Paint etc.)

Skills:
• BS/BA in film, television, art, or related field preferred
• All applicants must have their own car
• Strong communication skills and relationship building ability
• Communicate effectively between production department and other department heads
• Demonstrated ability to think clearly and quickly under pressure
• Must work effectively under own initiative and strict deadlines
• Self-Starters who are assertive, enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills, showing everyone respect even when stress and frustration arises
• Ability to multitask
• Willingness to learn and take direction
