Job Description

Emmy Award winning Production Company is seeking an extraordinary Coordinator with an interest in stop motion animation. This position is responsible for coordinating the on-time launch and delivery of animated shots. Manages all coordination & communication between Department Heads and Production.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the correct shot is set up for animation and delivered upon approval
• Work closely with the Producer, Director, and Department Heads in order to assure that all assets are delivered on time to their Stages in order to keep Animation moving forward
• Review animation schedule throughout the day to stay informed of changes, and assure that assets needed for upcoming shots are ready when needed
• Stay up to date on the prop delivery schedule to ensure that props will be delivered on time
• Deliver and track props and puppets to stages
• Manage and handle requests from the shooting floor and animators
• Maintain the upkeep of puppets

Skills:¬¬
• BS/BA in film, television, art, or related field preferred
• Prior Coordinating experience required
• Animation industry experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and relationship building ability
• Demonstrated ability to think clearly and quickly under pressure
• Must work effectively under own initiative and strict deadlines
• Self-Starters who are assertive, enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills, showing everyone respect even when stress and frustration arises
• Ability to multitask
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize and monitor progress across multiple, interdependent departments
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Having an understanding of materials and processes used in fabrication
