Job Description

Maslow Media is looking to build a ‘Pool’ of Technicial Production Personnel who are experienced (3-5yrs), but willing to work for below broadcast industry standard rates for a MMG Contract. This involves working both Half (work 4hrs/paid for 5hrs) and Full days (8hrs.). We are looking to place people in the following positions:

• Director/Technical Director – Half Day: $300 – Full Day: $470
The Director portion oversees creative and technical aspects or a broadcast or video production. Must be able to “call a show” and supervise all engineers involved in the broadcast. Must be knowledgeable with Broadcast Pix Granite, New Tek Tricaster, Ross Vision or equivalent. The Technical Director portion will be responsible for creating digital video effects, switching cameras, keying graphics and setting roll-in cues in addition to operating various servers for playback and recording.

• Camera Operators – Studio – Half Day: $150 – Full Day: $240
This position would operate a studio camera during live or live-to-tape broadcasts from the contract studio or other location. Must be able to
light an interview subject and monitor with mounted and free-standing
lights.

• Motion Graphics Designer 2D – Half Day: $250 –Full Day: $400
This position designs and produces original, still artwork or 2D animation for incorporation into video, presentations or web productions. May use and need to be familiar PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects and Adobe Illustrator.

• Make-Up Artist w/Kit – Half Day: $200 – Full Day: $310
The make-up artist would apply broadcast make-up to professional talent and panelists. May be asked occasionally to style hair or provide special make-up effects.

• Non-Linear Editor – Level 2 – Half Day: $260 – Full Day: $420
The Editor shall perform basic operation of NLE systems, such as digitizing media, creating sequences, mixing multiple tracks of video & audio, and outputting as files, tape or other media. Must be proficient on Avid Media Composer.
